In addition to collecting the items that are required as drops, there are also Tasks that you can have different Characters do for a chance at getting one of the items as part of the Task Reward. For example after unlocking the Outfitters if you check Quagmire’s Task List you will see he can now get Petroleum Jelly, Coffee Cups, and Gerbils. Tap on the rubble to initiate a Clear Block?
One of Stewie’s final wishes is to visit the Chicago Museum of Art. There, Stewie stares at “Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte” accompanied to the song “Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want”. The scene transition to commercial which included live action footage of a car is a reference to the Knight Rider Commercial bumpers. When Diane Simmons reads an on-air message from the Quahog electric company, she screams “Hey, you guyyyyys!! ”, which is then followed by an animated version of the opening sequence from season one of The Electric Company . Tom Tucker then notes that despite the upbeat lyrics, this electric company will not be bringing the power.
And that funny foreign guy, in the garage. In the Cutaway Gag Jackie Chan is the Funny Foreigner, who says “Thank you very much.” Several references to The Breakfast Club are made, including Peter going to the library for detention and seeing cereal mascots reenact a scene. In a cutaway, Peter attempts to sing the song “Jesus Loves Me” to a group of children, but gets confused and ends up singing the jingle to Skippy peanut butter.

Ah, you should have heard ’em laughing at me, Lois. I got great ideas, but they look at me and all they see is a loser. If you are at an office or shared network, you can ask the network administrator to run a scan across the network looking for misconfigured or infected devices. Stewie says that Peter is the worst thing to happen to musical theater since Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Lois calling out Peter on his behavior and his response come from Planes, Trains and Automobiles. Chris laughs and notes, “Movie references.” Herbert reads Chris the story of Peter and the Wolf and whistles the main theme of the composition. When Lois and Brian decide to rent a movie, Brian suggests Vanilla Sky, but Lois calls it an “abortion”. Peter refers to Michael as “McCutie”, a reference to the nickname “McDreamy” from Grey’s Anatomy. Herbert, imitating a scene from Say Anything…, holds a photograph above his head and plays “Let’s Have Another Cup of Coffee” by Glenn Miller.
In any event you should try to get each District land cleared as soon as possible after unlocking the next District. With that long task in the works, all that should be left is building the Mini Mart — which you can do by opening the Marketplace Menu and selecting the Buildings Tab. The Quahog Mini Mart costs $350 to buy and takes 2h to build. Once it is placed and built it will generate $7 and 5 XP per hour. Completing this rather lengthy and involved Quest in addition to giving you the character of Mort Goldman also rewards you with $150 and 100 XP.
Cool Hand Peter
The Sleestaks know Alice by the name Seleema, which in their language means “Protector” due to her role in keeping predators away from their eggs. In the film, she is shown to be territorial against the T. She begins chasing Marshall as he gets a nitrogen gas tank to the catapult and the nitrogen gas tank was shot right into Big Alice. She swallows it and she freezes as icicles grow on her and she lays on the ground, dead. She then explodes as it shows she had the amplifier. She appeared in numerous episodes of the series, playing a role similar to the other main predator, Grumpy, although the two have appeared together and even fought each other on occasions.
You can learn what Tasks and Buildings can supply the desired resources by checking the Components List & Mini Guide in the Reference Section of this Guide. The Task Organizer spells out precisely which Tasks you must complete and with which character to have a chance to obtain these Components. Remember that as there is just a chance to obtain the item you may have to complete the given Tasks more than once to obtain it.
Land of the Lost is referenced when Peter sings a terrible rendition of its opening theme song. Stewie mentions the time Brian tricked him into watching the infamous “Two girls, one cup” video. The ensuing cutaway has Brian recording his reaction, a reference to YouTube videos of people recording their friends’ reactions to the video.
Even as a kid, I thought they were chewing the scenery. On many episodes, they both wailed as if they were being torn limb from limb. Without explanation, Chaka can now speak nearly fluent English. They’ve given up even trying to keep up with the proto-langauge they had created for the prior seasons. Actually, I think it’s good to present the fact to children that there are something that are just not possible to know, but that doesn’t make the story any less worth telling.
When he fell asleep, the race car bed fell off the side of the building (with Mr. Gus on it) and falls into a pillow and steel factory. Uncle Grandpa landed safely on a pile of pillows, but Mr. Gus wasn’t so lucky and landed on a pile of steel. Mr. Gus is thoroughly angry with Pizza Steve. Before Mr. Gus can scold him, Uncle Grandpa speeds off in his race car bed shouting “Bad Morning”. They chase him all through town, trying everything they can to get him to calm down. After several unsuccessful attempts, Mr. Gus theorizes that the only way to get Uncle Grandpa to calm down is to give him ice cream so that he’ll have a sugar crash.
Leggo My Meg
Stewie is told that if he doesn’t sing in the “Happy World” ride, he’ll be put in a Christmas movie with Tim Allen. When Brian is fired from The New Yorker, a booming voice reads out the sign “No Dogs Aloud!” a la Snoopy, Come Home. Afterwards, Brian walks up to Snoopy’s doghouse and sleeps on top of it. Lois’ meltdown parodies the “No wire hangers!” scene from Mommie Dearest. Lois’ “First Lady” outfit is based on the suit Jackie Kennedy wore on the day of her husband’s assassination.
Once the Collector went through it, the fortress collapsed. Ed, the Ghostbusters, and all lost objected were returned to the physical plane. For the 2010 six month period, Griffin reported a net loss of $2.6 million, compared to a $2.8 million loss during the same time period last year. Once you have collected all of the above you can head back to Al’s and complete the outfit!
Dr. Hartman says “You know, we’re all lucky to be alive on such a beautiful day”, which is a quote from Grave of the Fireflies. Peter attempts to dive into a vault full of gold coins like Scrooge McDuck, but Surprisingly Realistic Outcome occurs and he horrifically injures himself. When Brian argues that Santa isn’t real, Stewie questions him if Elmo or SpongeBob are real. A Japanese instrumental rendition of the Top Gun theme plays as Peter, Joe, and Quagmire take off for a joyride in a WWII Japanese Zero fighter. The cutaway of Rush Limbaugh and John McCain solving a mystery parodies the Scooby-Doo series. The Harlem Globetrotters guest-star like they did on The New Scooby-Doo Movies.
In addition to the above, completing this Quest also rewards you with $115 and 75 XP. Completing this Task has the chance to award you with a Sparkle — which is one of the resources that you need for another Quest — and also rewards you with $75 and 50 XP. That may not always be possible, but if it is you should try and manage it.
