Otto & Charlotte attempt to resuscitate a stillborn calf while Eve learns that taking life during a hunt isn’t easy. The Kilchers say goodbye to Bruce as Eivin and Eve welcome new life with Findlay. In the midst of Thanksgiving preparations, a baby seal needs help getting back to its family in time for dinner. Later, Eivin and August engineer a hay baler that will literally take a load off their backs. The rush to complete projects intensifies as Otto’s surgery looms; the herd’s food supply is threatened; Atz Lee and Jane reunite after a month apart.
