Daisy Edgar-Jones and Paul Mescal give breath-taking, breakout performances as a pair of high school sweethearts destined to lead intertwined lives in this drama based on Sally Rooney’s best-selling book. Jones plays Marianne, a wealthy Irish girl who struggles to make friends. Mescal plays Connell, a popular jock type facing his own internal battles.

They decide it’s time to live life to the fullest, not letting petty things bother them or focusing so much on their careers that they forget what truly makes them happy. Based on the Kem Nunn novel of the same name, Chance stars Hugh Laurie as a forensic neuropsychiatrist, Dr. Eldon Chance. Chance — who is going through a divorce — becomes romantically involved with a patient named Lucy .

After a deadly virus has ravaged much of the world, Martin Lowery , a scientist, and Alma , a park ranger, are tasked with transporting equipment through the woodlands to a research center. En route, Martin sustains a serious injury after he and Alma are attacked at their campsite. Taken in by a man named Zach , Martin and Alma are thankful for the rescue — until they realize the mysterious man may have an ulterior motive for rescuing them.

The series run of Showtime’s Emmy winner has been a rollercoaster, even for its most diehard fans. Only the first five seasons of the show are now available on Hulu as of this writing — two more have aired on the cable network — and that run of the series features incredible highs and incredible lows. The first season remains the best, a showcase for the talents of Claire Danes, Damian Lewis, and Mandy Patinkin. You’ll want to keep watching from there and some of your loyalty will be rewarded, but don’t say you haven’t been warned. Like Judas and the Black Messiah, an Academy Award-winning film about Black Panther leader Fred Hampton released a year earlier, MLK/FBI tells the uncomfortable truth about the US government’s role in sabotaging civil rights leaders. All Light, Everywhere examines the unprecedented proliferation of cameras in our society. Margaret says she’s ready to give up drugs and go back to rehab, but her mother Deb isn’t ready to let her daughter back into her life.

Ryan Gosling plays Holland March, a private eye that gets paired up with heavy-hitting enforcer Jackson Healey , and the duo is tasked with tracking down Amelia . As their investigation kicks off, the plot rapidly thickens when people surrounding the missing persons case start dying. It’s only a matter of time before Holland and Jackson meet the same fate.

He fashions these stories into this sitcom, set up in the year 2032 as Johnson, now running for U.S. President, recalls how he is able to relate to the everyday people of America. What makes the show all the more entertaining is that the stories stem from real events that happened in Johnson’s life.

Try watching Arthur Christmas, a sweet, clever film about how the son of Father Christmas saves the day for one kid and recaptures the entire spirit of the holiday. We don’t talk enough about how great Aardman, the team behind Wallace & Gromit and Shaun the Sheep, are every single time out. The truth is that none of the streaming services are particularly great at family options now that Disney+ has cornered that market, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t some great choices on Hulu.

The streaming platform has ramped up its original content, going all-in on thoughtful and entertaining storytelling with its line-up of TV shows.
