The overall arc of the story isn’t worth the running time and you just seem to be recycling villains for the same ending. The concept of the first movie was good but it failed to deliver that final blow. A great cast with chemistry to burn can’t save this from being mediocre.

The man is so sinister that he sends three letters to the San Francisco Chronicle boasting about his murderous endeavors and daring the police to catch him. In the meantime, he continues to kill people and the law enforcement in spite of having every clue with them are made sitting ducks by the perpetrator. Based on a true story, the tale of Zodiac Killer is fascinating and entertaining especially because the actual killer was never caught and is still at large.
