The event was the result of the promise of the hosts on the aftermath of the Vote Like A Beast campaign for the 2020 United States elections, where 23,000 new voters were registered using the campaign . The show received its eighth intro sequence that paid homage to their previous intro sequences, most notably the classic GMM intro from its inaugural season, to celebrate 10 years of the show. The theme music was remixed once again by Pomplamoose for the first time since Season 11, but Mark Byers once again composed the outro music. The show received its seventh intro sequence, created by Matthew Dwyer and Mike Pasley of Digital Twigs, where the Cocatrice was brought back into the show’s title-card since Season 11.

The channels feature videos on scientific, psychological, mathematical, and philosophical topics, as well as gaming, technology, popular culture, and other general interest subjects. The occasional appearance of more mature content turns Good Mythical Morning from a clean, fun channel for kids to one that parents should be aware of if they choose to introduce it to their children. With proper supervision, the channel could be a good alternative to the sea of objectionable content on YouTube. However, parents might want to hold off until their kids are old enough to navigate the sometimes choppy waters of Good Mythical Morning by themselves. Most of the time, those suggestive references are brief and aren’t explicit.
