There are some cosmetic issues that I’d want to take care of in order to be considered “excellent” condition. As for size if you are a beginner, I am 6’ and this was sized for me. I thought I would street ride more, but just didn’t.
Trek dealers around here only discount about 10% off the lower-end bikes so $900 is a good price. One option you may want to consider is splitting the difference and getting a price on the 1.2. You’ll get most of the perks of the 1.5, but drop down to 9 speed and Sora shifters. Also since you asked about cranksets, I’ll note that it’s the only model with a choice between a compact and triple.

Trek one series alpha 1.5 road bike used. £300 ONO
My local bike shop tells me it’s worth the upgrade from the 1.1. For that difference in price, if you can afford it, I think going with the 1.5 is worth it. Notable upgrades are 8 to 10 speed, improvements in ergonomics and a CF/ alu fork. Plus mismatched tires and blue bar tape?
Other than that I was riding it every other weekend up until winter. It comes with 2×9 Shimano Tiagra components and Shimano clip-in pedals. Bar tape was just replaced around the September time frame. Tires are in good shape and it shifts good, at least when it was last ridden. It comes with a Cat Eye and rear water bottle with CO2 attachment, tire removal tools, and an extra tube. Also, for an additional $30 I can throw in four new tubes and five CO2 cartridges.
Do these Bicycles come with warranty?
Great road bike, has maybe 500 miles on it. I am 5’7 I think it will work for someone 5’6 – 5’10. Very rare vintage 1985 Trek 600 series sport touring bike, USA Reynolds 531. Great condition, low miles, minor scratches, tuned with new cables. Great for riding or as a collection piece. Can meet in Memphis, Tupelo, or Corinth MS. …
Fits some one 6’2+.Local pick up available at Seagull’s Cycles in Eagle. Delivery also available within reasonable distance. HARO FLIGHTLINE ONE 6000 SERIES FOR SALE $199.99 OBO – $199 (1327 BROADWAY)
This listing is for TREK ONE series 1.5 Alpha 100 Series Aluminum with a large, 64cm frame (for 6’2” or taller–I am 6’4”). Purchased new from Chain Reaction Bicycles in Redwood City, CA in 2015, ridden less than 100 miles and kept in the house thereafter. If you are looking for a first road bike or solid winter steed, this is a quality frame that will last the course and not let you down. The geometry is very relaxed, with this bike better suited to all day comfort and less flexible riders. The ride is smooth, but the brakes and a couple of other minor details let the overall package down when we consider the price. Prefer local pick up but will ship it.
No shipping option is available due to increased surcharge fees imposed by our shipping carriers. This bike has not been evaluated by a bicycle mechanic. Item may not have original parts, parts included may be damaged and non-functional. Parts may need to be adjusted, repaired or replaced. Overall, the bike feels nicely balanced, with the weight centred. This is noticeable when riding uphill or track standing.
TREK ONE SERIES – $340 (FORT WALTON BEACH)
The One series is Trek’s base level frame and would potentially suit a large number of cyclists. If you are in the market for your first road bike, a dependable winter bike, or just something for epic sportives that won’t break the bank, the Trek 1.5 is a great option. Hinting at this versatility is the inclusion of eyelets on the stays and forks, to aid the fitting of mudguards. There is also loads of mudguard/tyre clearance under the brakes.
5 miles on a trail will do as much damage to your stumpjumper ‘s drivetrain and wheelset as 40 road miles to a roadbike. I normally go with MSRP minus 20% out the LBS door for year zero, and drop another 10% per year of age . Once a bike gets over 5 years, the price is pretty much set on condition of the bike, but it will never be more than 30% of MSRP. Only exceptions is if it’s in NOS condition and doesn’t use any suspension components or when they get into the collector or antique status. Clean, in great shape and low miles. Chain, brake pads, and tires are in excellent shape with lots of life left.
Trek One Series 1.2 54 cm – PRICE REDUCED – $550 (Corvallis)
The first thing that draws your eye to a bike is the way it looks and the Trek looks pretty utilitarian. Don’t expect to cop admiring glances at the cafe stop. That said, plenty of us value function over form. Our test model featured 23mm Bontrager R1 tyres. These rolled nicely and were puncture free for over a few weeks of winter riding and commuting on roads strewn with potential puncture hazards.

Trek 5900 USPS full Dura Ace full carbon road bike 60 cm frame – $1,125 (Marion, Iowa)
Selling my roughly 2015 Trek 1.5 Series. I bought it in 2016 from a bike shop in South Korea. I haven’t been riding as much and need to clear up space around the house. Overall it’s in good shape minus a few scuffs in the pictures and a new set of brake pads will be in order soon.
Bicycle suspension
I’ll be using it to commute to work every day, and then for weekend/vacation road biking. I’ve done a little bit of research and stopped by my LBS and I’ve basically narrowed it down to either the ’13 Trek 1.1 or the ’13 Trek 1.5. The 1.1 would cost me $670, while the 1.5 is on sale and would be $900 (marked down from $1240).
