Huey has to find the real killer before Tom is shipped off to “real” prison where he will most assuredly become “someone’s girlfriend.” Ruckus’ message of hating black people in order to get into White Heaven catches on. Huey tries to save a radical who was wrongly convicted of murder from being executed. When a chicken franchise run out of its newest recipe introduction, things go from bad to worse when a viral outbreak is linked to the same chicken. Thankfully, Huey has prepared a survival outline in just such an emergency, but it’s all threatened when no one can seem to stick to the simple plan. Uncle Ruckus has long idolized Jimmy Rebel, a popular racist country singer based on the infamous Johnny Reb, a.k.a. Pee Wee Trahan.
A pimp Named Slick Back returns in this episode to try to help Tom get Sarah back. While Ruckus spreads the word of White Jesus to get into White Heaven, Huey desperately tries to save his friend from death row. District Attorney and law-abiding citizen Tom Dubois fits the description of the elusive “X-Box Killer” and is arrested.

Season three started on May 2, 2010 with “It’s a Black President, Huey Freeman” and ended with “It’s Goin Down” on August 15, 2010 with a total of fifteen episodes. All fifteen episodes from season three were released completely uncensored on a three-disc DVD set in the United States on November 9, 2010. When Riley’s affinity for grafitti goes too far, Grandad sends him to an art teacher that actually encourages him to do grafitti, only painting murals instead. Meanwhile, Huey discovers a black woman died from watching too much black TV, and decides to watch black TV for 2 weeks to see if that was the cause. When one of Grandad’s army buddies, Moe, dies, he and the boys return home to Chicago for the funeral. On the way there it is revealed that Grandad and Moe had a bad falling out over a girl.

While on a date with Tom Dubois, Sarah Dubois meets the singing sensation, Usher. Sarah starts being obsessed with Usher, and Tom begins to think Sarah is cheating on him.
But when the theater group turns out to be a homoerotic evangelical cult, it’s up to Huey and Riley to put a pause to it. Two men are invading homes, and Riley and Granddad are refusing to speak to the police. Kelly comes to town and Tom Dubois is the ADA, Huey and Riley are on opposing sides of the hot-button “underage peeing” issue. Meanwhile, Granddad and Uncle Ruckus argue about white people during a game of checkers.

Uncle Ruckus’ legendary status as a black-hating racist thus runs up against the slight problem of his negritude. Their feud inspires Thugnificent to create a diss-track called “Eff Granddad”.
