The ferry ride is about minutes depending on sea conditions. Taxis can be found at the ferry landing and cost about $6 per person one way from Ferry Docks to the Top of the Baths. May is in the spring in Virgin Gorda and is typically the 5th coldest month of the year. Daytime maximum temperatures average around a steamy 29°C (85°F), whilst at night 23°C (73°F) is normal.

The British Virgin Islands are basically round the year destination with sub tropical climatic condition. However, December to April serves as the peak tourist season especially for Europeans and North American visitors. The hotels tariffs and flight price is maximum during this time.
