Customer Feedbacks
Boards with P-Tex Tip/Tail Protection have UHMW plastic, or P-Tex which is a softer molecular material that not only seals and protects the wood core, but also absorbs vibration and impact. Never Summer was the first snowboard company to use and perfect Sintered P-Tex Sidewalls, and they’ve never seen one crack. Never Summer adds a small flat section in the snowboard profile that improves both turn initiation and powder flotation. While I think that my riding stamina has increased a lot compared to.. Well when I first joined this forum as a beginner, it also help that the snow in Hokkaido is so light that it is easy to ride.
First turns were quite odd as I had to adapt to the well pronounced rocker. But once you learn to ignore it and put your weight on front foot, all is fine. Let her run on edge, or flatbase, she’ll run very damp. The 2020 season ended quite abruptly, so I wasn’t able to get all the time that I was expecting on the Infinity. I could only ride it in off piste conditions since all the resorts closed at the time I had the board.
Never Summer Infinity Snowboard – Women’s 2019
Bottomless snow, endless views, limitless fun. A day in the mountains holds infinite possibilities, so it pays to have a board that does it all. The Never Summer Infinity Snowboard is a twin shape with tons of all mountain capability from the park to the steeps. It has a medium flex for a playful, surfy board feel, a slightly setback stance for directional carving and float, and a Carbon VXR Laminate for snap and response. When you need something to expand your horizons, go with the Infinity. The Never Summer Infinity is a good choice for a women’s hybrid rocker all mountain board.
Not a lot, LW is rather stiffish for a NS women’s deck, but compared to WF, it is. Like, middle of road between WF and Mav. On pow days I like to do some drops and by the sound of it, LW actually has some advantage over the Mavx on that end too? I had to adapt to the well pronounced rocker. Its the best all round board i have ever used. The analysis is so analytical and complete.
Never Summer Infinity User Feedbacks
The Infinity is a tried and true all-mountain board that is great for riders of all skill levels due to it’s versatile, yet highly technical design. This award winning board features Carbon VXR Tech that provides power and agile response to the ends of the board while keeping torsional control. The Salomon Wonder, IMO, is a relatively advanced board. It’s at a good price point, but that doesn’t mean it’s necessarily a beginner boards. It’s mid-flex and the camber profile has a decent amount of camber in there (think the 2020 model got more mellow in terms of the camber profile, but I’m guessing that you have an older model). I would say the Infinity is a more mellow board (it’s softer flexing and probably a more mellow camber profile overall).
Do what you want, when you want with the Never Summer Infinity Snowboard. It’s versatile, just like you, with an Original Rocker Camber Profile that combines soft-snow surfy feels and float with plenty of edge hold and power for the hardpack. And of course, all of that is backed by Never Summer’s legendary quality, hand-made in their Denver factory with the finest materials custom-selected for many seasons of top-shelf performance.

Just the right amount of graphite has been added, making it the fastest they’ve ever made. Delivers incredible freestyle and freeride performance without sacrificing durability. Hey Nate, I am looking to buy a new snowboard.
So this analysis is from what I experienced during those days, and also from previous Infinity experiences from past seasons. Dual carbon V’s help transfer more energy to the end of the effective edge, tip and tail without making the board too stiff for buttering and presses. And can be ridden at high speed in pow without any nose dip hitting small bumps.

So it’s worth a little extra pressure on your leg when riding the chair. This guide will help you understand what general type of snowboard you should start with. I had been using the same board for nearly 10 years before I bought this one and it was smaller than this one in order for me to learn. When I got on this one I immediately noticed the difference in that it was stiffer and I had more board to control but I love it.
IMO, T2 has all-mountain freestyle in mind, Lady West freeriding. T2 is a twin, Lady is directional with taper and earlier rising nose. T2 has only mild rocker, butters, pops, rides switch, meh in pow, carves if asked for, but nothing special there. Perfect for beginnermediates, too, cos hugely forgiving.

It comes with Never Summer’s original rocker camber profile, a 5/10 flex on the NS scale, and a sintered base. The Ripsaw is a powerful, all-mountain charger with a medium-stiff flex and true twin shape. Made with a Superlight Wood Core and VXR Carbon, the Ripsaw delivers more pop than you can expect from a snowboard.
If you like having fun no matter what the day brings, you can’t go wrong with the Infinity. Ridden in the 2018 Winter Olympics by USA and Never Summer team rider Chris Corning, the Shaper Twin is an advanced all-mountain freestyle board designed to embrace every aspect of snowboarding. From bottomless powder to Olympic sized park jumps and everything in between, the Shaper Twin is a truly versatile ride.

Unlike conventional ABS sidewalls that have a tendency to crack in colder temperatures, Sintered P-Tex Sidewalls maintain their integrity at any temperature. Set up with my regular stance of about 22” and 15/15, the Infinity felt like it just wanted to go. I’d say Zippy is the word that comes to mind. And after taking a run through the pipe, my joyous spring riding spot of choice, the Never Summer Infinity soared. I don’t know if it was just the stars aligning or what, but I felt like a fucking eagle on a stick.

This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Yeah, I could tell how the slope was steeper due to the mountains in the background. My wife took some pics and vids with her iPhone and I was very impressed with how clear the images were. Have you tried (and now that you’ve tried most NW Women’s board) any Nitro boards? Their women’s boards are also on the slender side.
