What a way to get back into Archery
The V3 is in my opinion the best bow on the market! Looking forward to carrying it into the woods this fall. I took a long 26 year sabbatical from Archery, my last bow was a Golden Eagle, Hawk. Only to return when my boy began to show interest. Later in life and I chose to splurge a little with the V3 27 and what a great decision. With only a few times shooting I’m back to where I left off from an accuracy and precision perspective.
Amazing bows of the 20 or so bows I’ve owned this is the 2nd best [the apple limb Papal made for me 60 some years ago will always be #1] sorry Mathews that one can’t be beat, but this one comes in a very close 2nd . If anyone’s thinking about buying this bow I’m smiling and nodding my head. What it really came down to was shooting the bows for myself. My local dealer handed me both and I spent nearly 2 hours on the indoor range shooting them. Let me clarify, I spent 10 minutes shooting the competitor and over an hour shooting the V3.

I went in to shoot the Bowtech Revolt x and Mathews V3 31. I’m 6ft talk and the bow fit me perfectly. Second day shooting and I made my 1st ever Robin Hood shot at 30 yards.
From the machining, hydro dipping,quality of materials to final finish, this bow is a work of art. Quietest bow I’ve “never” heard, as a matter a fact when I release at 20 yards the only sound to be heard is my arrow impacting the target a millisecond from string release. Only issue i had is UA fit the d loop prior to shipping and centre of d loop is nearly half inch higher than the Berger hole where centre should be in line, no problem it’s an easy fix. I could go on for a long time about the V3 27 and how perfect it is but I’m wasting valuable shooting time.

I purchased the bow this summer and slowly through the summer and accelerating into the fall, I began to shoot it more and more getting ready for the fall hunting season. I was amazed at the consistency/accuracy of the bow and how quiet it was. I shot at a public range a couple of times and several other hunters approached and commented on how quiet the bow shot. I zeroed the bow out to 70 yards and felt very comfortable out to this range. In a six-day stretch in late October, I harvested a doe, 10-point buck (140-class) and a turkey.

With that being said, I’ve been in the market for a new bow for the past 2 years. When I narrowed my selection down to two manufacturers, I agonized for 6 months over which would be the better option for me. I spent hours on forums, read articles, watched countless hours of reviews, almost to the point where I was sick of the whole process. You could not ask for a more perfect blind/treestand bow.
