At just over 4lb they seem a bit on the heavy side. At this weight and 200 grams insulattion, I would have to say they are a 3 season boot, three season, meaning spring, fall and winter. They are just too heavy and hot for what I like to wear in the summer. This would save you time and also your physical hardships. No more carrying heavy shopping bags all the way from the market to your home.
But there is a big difference and I always regret it. These boots were for my husband and he absolutely loves them. They also were delivered before the scheduled delivery date. Great boots, a little hard to find in stores, I was very grateful to find them on Zappos.com. Great workmanship, best boot I’ve found for hunting and working. I wear my boots 7 days a week and am lucky to have a pair that last over 1 year. My last pair lasted 2 years and I still use them as a comfortable back up set. They keep your feet and ankles warm in single digit weather while still breathing nicely. I have had mine for over a month so far and have submerged them in rivers and hiked through three feet of snow with bone dry toes.
