I have tried to use the Pinarello stockists in my area but they are pretty much sold out. Wiggle is also fairly low on stock and having sold the Bianchi I am panicking about being left bikeless.

As far as Italian bike brands go, Pinarello is relatively young, with Giovani ‘Nani’ Pinarello opening the doors of his workshop in 1952. But, given seven of the last ten Tours de France have been won aboard a Pinarello bike, clearly, Nani was onto something special. In stack and reach a 48s C60 is much closer to an F than anything else, and a Dogma 500 is much closer to a 42s C60 than anything else. Ok, if the 500 Dogma is the perfect size, the super steep STA of the 42s may have precluded you from getting the saddle setback you need to match it. But it still doesn’t make sense that you’re running a 110 stem on both bikes, because the 500 and the 48s are exactly a centimetre different in reach. The 56 pinarello is indeed 56cm on the top tube but if you measure centre of bb to top tube you will get 58cm. A dogma 53 has a effective TT of 54.5 ( so in old speak of triangle frames where seat tube equaled top tube would be called a 54.5) so you may or may not fit on it.
Pinarello Paris models
Struggling on the right frame size for six foot, 200 pound, 33 inseam keen amateur, non-competetive male cyclist. I know they ride slightly larger than the frame size would seem to indicate. Looking at your height and inseam again, a 56 is too small for you. I am 178cm tall, have an 81cm inseam and I ride a 56 with a good amount of seatpost showing.

Additional 19 mm of upper dust cover above the head tube that cant be lowered or removed due to construction of Pinarello frames. And your 31.5 inseam I would definitely think you would be more a canidate for the 56cm frame. For reference, I also ride a 56cm Cervelo R3-SL and I just sold a BMC Pro Machine in 55cm. I´d like a 51.5 prince, but most riders would probably chose a 50. I have a friend who’s approx your dementions (5’11” 31″ inseam) he rides a 55cm Prince.
Consider the type of photo you are planning to hang in the space. A family photo is typically printed in a larger size to showcase everyone’s smiles, so it will probably need a thin and simple frame. On the other hand, a simple scene with only one focus can be placed in a thicker, more intricate frame. It was very comfortable to be honest but I am not sure it fitted me well. I know I can make 51 fit me but with stem and the bike will be not that aero and aggressive. Make a table vs Madone and Foil and compare stack and reach rather than head tube + top tube length.. Discuss light weight issues concerning road bikes & parts. In that case, if you’re struggling to find the correct fit, why not go with another manufactuer? Pinarellos are racy frames, with relatively long top tubes for their size & short head tubes.

I am 1.78m in my sox and inseam of 0.8m and they tell me I should go for a 54cm when “normal” frame is a 56. With the Onda wave fork from a few generations back, the frame sees a bit of aero tubing, though there’s no FlatBacked tech here. Given this is a Pinarello we are talking about here, it’s no surprise to see the same Flatback tubing, wavey fork complete with Fork Flaps and shrouded bottle cage. There is just a single option when it comes to material, with the Paris frame being constructed from a more-budget-friendly unidirectional T600 Toray carbon fibre. Pinarello seems to downplay the Prince using words like ‘docile’ to describe the bike in its marketing materials but don’t be fooled – it’s far from a noodly slow handling Fondo bike. At first glance, the Pinarello Nytro looks like a Dogma with a beefy downtube, in reality, hidden inside is a Fauza e-bike system and battery which can add up to 400w of power and 60nm of torq.
