The events calendar gets a little bare by November, but Landies have always thumbed their noses at weather that would send most classics scrambling for the garage. This is not just a winter event in the UK, but one with a sizeable outdoor element – you can even tackle Stoneleigh Park’s 2.4-mile off-road course. As you know, we are big fans of Land Rover vehicles and the TURAS team all drive Defenders, so we are really looking forward to this year’s edition of the Great British Landrover Show. The organisers of the show are delighted to announce a brand new section to the show for 2019 – the ‘Adventure and Outdoor Leisure Zone’. This new area of the show builds on the popularity of Land Rovers ‘go-anywhere’ tag line and the outdoor ventures of its owners. Everything from parts and accessories to bespoke vehicle builds and incredible restorations.
We’ll be finishing off the show season in our usual location at NAEC Stoneleigh in November and then we’ll be bringing the Land Rover community back together at the Newark Showground in April for the first time 2022. Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19), event information may be out of date. For those bringing their own vehicles, the All Wheel Drive Club was once again running the off-road course in the woods at the edge of the showground site. For many years, the Great British Land Rover Show has been seen as the perfect way to bring down the curtain on the season. After missing out in 2020, the autumn extravaganza was back in 2021 – when it set new records by attracting the biggest attendance in its illustrious history.
