The Steiners won by pinfall after Koloff, who had been feuding with Luger, interfered in the match by swinging a chain at Luger but hitting Sting instead. In August 1991, Sting defeated Steve Austin to win a tournament for the vacated WCW United States Heavyweight Championship.
