Medina Lake is actually a reservoir created by Medina Dam, along the Medina River. This scenic oasis is located just west of Interstate 71, between Route 18 and Granger Road. Maximum depth is over 150 feet, but it can be up to 40 feet lower when rainfall is sparse. Medina Lake is just 24 miles southeast of Bandera, Texas.
